Keeping It Clean: My Journey to a Tidy Home
Hey guys ….!
It’s been a while, but here I am again! Sometimes, you just feel the urge to write, you know? So here’s a glimpse into something I’ve been dealing with lately.
Let’s talk neatness. I’m the type who can’t handle a spot of dust on the floor. A messy room? Forget it! The first thing I think about every morning is making my bed perfectly. After that, I brush my teeth, then sweep every corner of my living space. And that’s not just a morning ritual, I’ll sweep the entire flat three to four times a day! It’s like I’m on a mission to keep things organized.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my friends, and we all share this space. But it drives me crazy when things get messy. Even the sight of a glass out of place can make me uncomfortable. And don’t get me started on a switch left on it’s like my own personal alarm. My friends joke that I have OCD, but I know it’s not that. I just crave an organized, peaceful environment.
Some days, it feels like no one else understands. When I ask them to clean up, I worry that they’ll think I’m nagging. I mean, why is it so hard to get why this is important to me? Aside from this, my mental health is great, but the constant mess is stressful.
And here’s the thing , I’m allergic to dust and certain odors, so keeping my space dust-free is essential. Maybe that’s why I’m always cleaning, why I feel so strongly about it. But it feels frustrating that I’m the only one who cares enough to tackle the mess.
I’m not saying anyone’s unhygienic here. I just wish people would think about the environment they’re creating. A clean space benefits everyone, right? So if you’re reading this, maybe consider keeping things tidy for yourself and for the people around you. Trust me, it can make a huge difference.
Thanks for hearing me out. Take care, and happy cleaning!
